My idea of fun and adventure is not always met with a great deal of enthusiasm when it comes to my friends. Does that stop me? Never! I continue to persuade them and attempt to wear them down until they give in, if for no other reason, than to shut me up. The proposition of white water rafting on the Hudson River is just one of those examples. My friend, who shall remain nameless, really was not up for the feat, but being a good sport she went along for the wet and wild ride. Did she love it and would she do it again? Definitely not! Did she survive unscathed? She sure did and it's something she can cross off her bucket list, if it was ever on there. If you were wondering if there was food involved in our adventure-of course there was food! A good snack for your future river (or hiking) adventures is a flour tortilla stuffed full of raisins, granola, peanut butter and honey! If you want a little crunch, slivered almonds do the trick. Today's takeaway: Don't let fear of the unknown hold you back from making great memories with friends! Check out some pics from our adventure at
